Using the Aptos font in Signature 365

Scenario

You wish to use the Aptos font introduced by Microsoft within your Signature 365 signatures, but the font does not render in a browser window.

Reason

Microsoft introduced the Aptos font as the default font for Office applications in 2024, however the font is not supported by default within web browsers, and by extension, Outlook Web Access.

Solution

Information

Please note, that the Aptos font must be installed on a device for this to render. Devices without the Aptos font installed will fallback to the Calibri default font.

This must also be installed for the receiving party to render as the Aptos font.

If you wish to use this font within your signature 365 signatures, you will need to install the Aptos font to your windows devices.

Aptos can be downloaded from the following Microsoft link:

Once you have the font, the following article details how to install the font on your devices, it is also possible to deploy fonts to an organisation using GPO or powershell.
